The airline was founded in 2020 with billionaire business man, Dr Obiorah Okonkwo as the executive Chairman, and Maxi Osita Okonkwo as the executive Director. This new business adventure obtained it’s AOC (Air Operators Certificate) in February, 2021 with the certificate due to expire in two years.

United Nigerian Airline is a private airline headquartered in Enugu state, south eastern part of Nigeria. The airline has an office in the capital territory Abuja although it’s operations are based at Enugu international airport. The airline also has its little beginnings as it started with just four aircraft, and these four aircraft are scheduled to fly to four different cities in Nigeria which include: Abuja, Lagos, Asaba, and Enugu.

Job Title: Revenue Accounts Officer (1)

Location: Enugu

Reports to: Revenue Accountant

Key Responsibilities

1. To Coordinates and manages station sales reports
2. To Supports the reconciliation of station sales reports
3. You must ensure accuracy, completeness and timely transaction posting, accounting & reporting on all transactions
4. Supports in posting daily passenger revenue and fuel surcharge revenue on the accounting software.
5. Performs month-end reconciliation of all Passenger and Fuel Surcharge revenue
6. Supports in POS Transaction posting for all stations
7. Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Line Manager

Qualification, Experience and Skills

• B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accounting.
• Aviation experience in a similar role is required
• Must be Computer literate; High proficiency level in MS Excel would be an added advantage
• Working knowledge of Videcom Reservation System
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Smart and diligent at all times

Job Title: Revenue Accounts Officer (2)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages Travel Agents & Corporate Clients Accounts
• Ensures accuracy, completeness and timely transaction posting, accounting & reporting on all Travel Agents and Corporate Clients transactions.
• Obtains service level agreement for each Travel Agent & Corporate Client and monitors top-up of deposits made by Travel Agents in Videcom.
• Maintains daily sales records for respective Travel Agents in prescribed format for submission to the Revenue Accountant.
• Handles the posting of deposits made and daily sales data for respective Travel Agents correctly and promptly in Tally as appropriate in accordance with the chart of accounts.
• Handles the posting of Refund Credit Notes issued to Corporate Clients in Tally in accordance with the chart of accounts.
• To Prepares and submits weekly and month-end comprehensive reports on Travel Agents & Corporate Clients performance to the Revenue Accountant and Financial Controller.
• To Monitor and reconcile the accounts of respective Travel Agents & Corporate Clients regularly, ensuring that there is no breach of any kind.
• To Perform month-end reconciliation of all Travel Agents accounts & Corporate Clients, ensuring that accounts balance for each Travel Agent.
• He/She Co-ordinates the Travel Agents & Corporate Clients tasks in accordance with Airline Revenue Accounting Best Practice.

Qualification,Experience and Skills
