Rivers State Songhai Farm Closed Down By Governor Nyesom Wike

The Songhai farm was one among the giant projects carried out by the administration of Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi with the capacity to employ over 5 thousand Nigerians, especially Rivers people.

Songhai Farm as called has different departments ranging from Snail Farming, Plantain/Banana Farming, Fish and Livestock Farming as well as other Cash Crop Products, etc.

The project employed and successfully trained many persons abroad in different areas and departments.

Today, the farm has been closed down by the current administration of Gov. Nyesom Wike and thousands of the already employed and trained Rivers People and Nigerians have been dismissed.
