The National Youth Service Corps, also known as NYSC, is a one-year mandatory service programme for all Nigerians upon completion of higher education.

The Corps members or ‘kopa’ or ‘otondo’ as playfully called, are usually posted randomly to any one of the 36 states in Nigeria, as well as the Federal Capital Territory. There, they serve their country through different jobs assigned, as well as community development services.

They are usually given a monthly stipend of 19,800 Naira ($53), which is popularly referred to as ‘allawi’. Some states, however, pay the corps members an additional stipend ranging from as low as 1,000 Naira ($2) to as high as 10,000 Naira ($27).

After keying your details in, click on the green “Resume” icon to go back to the home dashboard. For those who might have forgotten their logging in details, do not worry. Simply click on the “Forgot password or e-mail link to either reset, recover e-mail, or reset to phone options. The user will use the same logins for subsequent logins.

Already had a previous account?

For graduates who had previously created an account and had not gone through the complete registration process, log in using the former username and password to continue. Some individual might have been mobilized in the ending/previous Batches but did not have the opportunity of attending the NYSC orientation camps.
