The sales of JAMB registration form officially commenced on 6th December, 2017, and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the step by step guide for candidates to start their registration exercise.
Steps For A Successful JAMB 2018 UTME/DE Registration:
Prospective candidates who wish to participate in the 2018 JAMB UTME/DE registration exercise should take note of the following:
Profile Creation
You need to create a profile before starting the registration process. To create profile;
1) Send your name Surname, First Name & Middle Name (where applicable). This should be maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = 40 characters through SMS to JAMB short code of 55019
2) One cell number (mobile number) can be used by one candidate only
3) A confirmation code of 10 characters is received by the candidate on the same telephone number which will be used to procure the ePIN.

Profile Self Help In Case Of Mistake/Loss
To correct a mistake in candidate’s name, resend a text message (from the registered number)
“CORRECT Surname First name Middle Name” to 55019 To retrieve a lost confirmation code, resend a text message (from the registered number) “RESEND” to 55019.
Obtain the JAMB Registration PIN
There are six different methods of making payment and procuring the JAMB Registration ePIN.

PAYMENT THROUGH BANKS (Access, ECOBANK, First Bank, FCMB, Fidelity, Jaiz, Skye, Sterling, Union, Unity, and Zenith) INCLUDING MICRO FINANCE BANKS (FUD MFB (Dutse) and Regent MFB (Abuja)
1) Present Profile Code and pay by cash or card
2) ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Payment Through POS (CITI-SERVE)
This is available at State Offices of JAMB + CBT Centres, other POS outlets and any CBT Centre that demands it
1) Present Profile Code and pay by card
2) ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Payment Through Mobile Money Operators Including eTranzact
This is available at CBT Centres and Other Outlets
1) Present Profile Code and pay by cash
2) ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Payment Using ATM
This is available on all ATM outlets of Participating Banks (InterSwitch Channel)
1) Select Bill Payment and then pick JAMB
2) Enter Profile Code and pay
3) ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Online Payment On JAMB Portal
1) Visit JAMB website: jamb.gov.ng
2) Click Purchase of 2018 Application Document
3) Enter your Profile Code
4) Select payment method (InterSwitch or Remita)
5) Make payment
6) ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Payments Using USSD (NIBSS/ERCAS)
1) Dial *565*6*55019#
2) Enter Profile Code
3) Select bank and follow the prompts to complete payment
4) ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
Payment Self Help
If ePIN is not Received or Lost, send a text message from the registered telephone number “UTMEPIN” or “DEPIN” to 55019 for UTME or DE respectively The ePIN would then be retrieved
JAMB 2018 Registration Template
After successful payment & obtaining ePIN, candidates should proceed to any of the accredited CBT Centres to complete his/her own registration.
JAMB 2018 Registration Process at CBT Centres
After you have correctly filled the 2018 UTME Registration Form template, you are to proceed to the closest JAMB Accredited CBT centre with your ePIN for registration. Candidate is expected to pay not more than N700.00 as registration fee to the CBT Centre
After Registration
Registration is done online and you will be personally attended to at the CBT centre. Each Candidate is to collect his or her e-slip or Registration Print-out. This serves as evidence that you have successfully completed the registration process.
