How to Submit Your NIN to MTN & Other Networks for SIM Verification
To submit your National Identity Number (NIN) to MTN for Sim card verification, you don’t have to visit their office and do it physically, just follow the guidelines here;
- Visit https://mtnonline.com/nim
- Fill in your details correctly
- Click on Submit
- A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered phone number
- Enter the OTP you just received and click on submit button.
You can also dial *785# to link the NIN on your registered MTN number.
- For MTN dial *785#
- For Airtel – *121#
- For 9mobile – Visit the nearest office (no simpler system as at today)
- For Glo send “UPDATENIN NIN FIRSTNAME & LASTNAME” to 109.
Once submitted, you will get a response from MTN, telling you that y’ello, your Submission has been received. Thank you.
