The chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr Chidi Lloyd says the Local Government Vigilante Service will be unveiled in no distant time.
The council chairman disclosed this when he visited the proposed site for the construction of a secretariat building for the vigilante service on monday.

Dr Lloyd said he will be sponsoring an executive bill for the establishment of Emohua Local Government Vigilante Service to the local government legislative assembly to give a legal backing to the operations of the vigilante service which will be regulated and funded by the local government.
The council chairman said the process of nomination and selection of members of the vigilante service from all the communities in the local government area is being concluded.
He revealed that the former site of the local government skill acquisition center at Mgbuitanwo junction along the East-West will be used to construct a secretariat for the Local Government Vigilante Service.
The council chairman also inspected some ongoing projects at the council secretariat and was accompanied by the vice chairman, Hon Mrs Edna Nyeche, secretary to the local government, Chief Vincent Chukwu and some principal officers of the local government.
