Lecturers of the Anambra state-owned University, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), bows out of the ongoing nationwide Academic Staff Union of UNIVERSITIES (ASUU) strike.
In a meeting last Tuesday, the lecturers has reached an agreement that the strike is detrimental to them. And according to their spokesperson Prof. Osita Chiagbanam who said that to continue to with the strike will be subjecting them (the lecturers) to hunger and penury.
Students in their final year had resumed on 21st of september and all levels will come back to school by the 2nd of October.
