Another 28 persons has reportedly been killed in Egbeda community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State near Omoku town.
According to an eyewitness, unknown gunmen invaded the egbeda community and killed 28 persons including 15 women who were returning from their various farms, and 13 Youths/children watching match in the community.
This latest attack is coming barely three days after over 21 persons were killed in Omoku by unknown gunmen while returning from cross over night church service on January 1st, 2018.
This sad event led to a visit by Gov. Nyesom Wike and his security council during which he pledged a N200m bounty on information which will lead to the arrest of those behind the dastard act.
